Ironmaster’s Heritage Day Celebration
Historic Poole Forge - 1940 Main Street (Route 23) – Narvon (Churchtown), PA 17555

Saturday, September 17, 2011 – 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Events Include:
Volleyball Tournament (starts @ 7 a.m.)
Sticky Bun Stick-off (enter your best homemade sticky buns @ 8:30 a.m. @ WTH)
Children’s Activities (10 a.m. to noon @ pavilion)
Artisans/Craftsmen Village (9 a.m. to ?)

Lime Kiln Display & Demonstration (by Ken Miller & Paul Stoltzfus)
Farm Heritage & Tractor Show/Parade (tractor parade @ noon)
Conestoga Wagon & Artifacts Display
Silent Auction (9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - includes 2010 Heron Chainsaw Carving by Dean Fox)

HPF Store (open from 9:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. – 2011 Christmas ornaments for sale)
Turtle Race & Awards @ 2:00 p.m. (right to “dump the turtles” to be auctioned)
Bucket Brigade (starts@ 3:45 p.m.)
Tug of War (starts @ 5:00 p.m.)


Entertainment by Cousin Jake & Friends (afternoon)
Ironmaster’s Mansion (open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Door Prizes (every hour – must be present to win)
Delicious Food for Purchase from Local Vendors (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 - top prize is $250 and the first 20 turtles to cross the line win a prize!
